About Innovation Center Station
Innovation Center is one of the six stations added in Silver Line Phase 2, opening on November 15, 2022. Situated between Washington Dulles International Airport and Herndon, the station anchors the heart of the Dulles technology corridor — one of the most concentrated tech employment areas in the country.
The MITRE Corporation, a major nonprofit federal research and development center, has its primary campus within reach of the station. Dozens of defense contractors, cybersecurity firms, and cloud computing companies operate along this stretch of the Dulles Toll Road, many of which hold classified contracts with the federal government.
The station provides a Park & Ride garage of around 2,072 all-day spaces, plus Fairfax Connector and Loudoun County Transit bus connections to surrounding employers who are within a short distance but not walkable directly from the platform. Two pedestrian bridges cross SR 267 to bus bays and kiss & ride lots at both entrances.
